Vanessa Beecroft's work addresses conceptual concerns as well as aesthetic concerns. Her performance art is often large scale and often involves live female models, often nude. At her performances, video recordings and photographs are made, to be exhibited as documentation of the performances, but also as separate works of art.

"t's been 21 years since I finished my first piece of GumArt, but I can not recall GumArt's beginning. The "primordial soup" of GumArt exists in my earliest memories. It's made up of a love for gum, the idea that nothing loved should be thrown away, and, as William Faulkner put it, the desire "...to create out of the materials of the human spirit something which did not exist before"."

Her has a very feminine narrative, full of colors on canvas in a variety of formats. Maugeri, born in France in 1967, presents his drawings foma bright, colorful and often square, sometimes reinforced by the presence of gold leaf, their creations are on their way to the compositions full of detail and emotion.

Yulia Brodskaya is an artist and illustrator known for her handmade elegant and detailed paper illustrations. Originally from Russia, she is now based in the UK.
26. Carlos Meira
Carlos Meira was born in Rio de Janeiro and studied at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, where he attended the Arts Course.
He worked as an art director in many advertising agencies and moved to Portugal in the beginning of the nineties. In Europe he developed his first works with papers.
25. Rob Ryan
Rob Ryan was born in 1962 in Akrotiri, Cyprus. He studied Fine Art at Trent Polytechnic and at the Royal College of Art in London where he specialised in Printmaking.
Although he views himself first and always as a fine artist, his intricate papercut work adapts itself readily to many other mediums including ceramics, textiles, homewares and even jewelry.
